Visitor measurement & privacy

Grid 71 measures visits to its public homepage, Ideas page and STO guide to learn which projects are useful. We count page views, approximate browser sessions and download clicks, with broad referral categories such as search or YouTube.

This measurement saves random identifiers, the UTC date, an approved public page path, activity type and referral category. It does not save IP addresses, names, full referral URLs, search terms, query strings or financial information. A temporary identifier in browser session storage groups visits; it is renewed after 30 minutes of inactivity. This does not identify individual people.

Admin pages and private apps are excluded. We honor Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. You can also opt out below on this browser. Event records older than 90 days are removed when the next event is recorded. The hosting provider may process its own operational and security logs separately.
